I recently flew back to Chicago to direct and produce a music video shoot for Blane Fonda (a local Chicago Band). Hope to have the final product up in a month or two but in the mean time take a look at these neat graphic stills we used for projection and set pictures (taken by Phil Weber).
I was invited to shoot the principle behind the scenes for a Mike's Hard commercial featuring Graham Elliot surprising Chicagoans. Much of the footage ended up in the final edits.

Office parties are way more fun when you're part of the action. Using prerecorded clips, live video, and a shell script that automatically randomized an After Effects template we created a unique narrative.
Guest were invited to sit down and give their best poker face. Live video of this was captured and fed into After Effects. Clips such as a greeting from a dog was randomly selected. Through the blend of live and pre existing video an original story was created.
I assisted Scott Sonnenbery with filming the dogs. I also edited a number of various scenarios that fit into the randomizable After Effects template. The end result was automatically streamed to TVs around the party and uploaded to YouTube.

I had the opportunity shoot a launch event for the Inside Hook and Blackberry launch in Chicago. Inside Hook is the daily lifestyle guide for everyday adventurous men.
We shot this all with my own equipment using a D800.
I was part of a team that shot and created social content at Chicago's music fest, Pitchfork, with the Beat's by Dre's social team. For 3 days we would shoot and be live with content within a few hours. We developed 8 videos total.
Below you can see the daily recaps we created that were usually out within an hour of the last show of the day. We shot primarily on a Sony C300 but also had a few Mark III's and Mark II's handy loaded with Zeiss lenses.
It was a blast.
